Brazil has a lot of excellent hotels. Most of the world famous hotel chains have their branch in Brazil, and normally they are in the big cities. So you can find Sheraton, Hilton, Best Western, Manhattan Plaza, Caesar Park, Ipanema Inn; you will not have any problem in finding the hotel chain that you are used to in Brazil.

In most of the hotels the check-in time is at 14:00 and check-out time at 12:00 and take into consideration that early check-in or late check-out can be requested but, according to each hotel policy, there could be and extra charge.

As everything in Brazil is big, those hotels are huge. But Brazil has a great variety of other concept of accommodation different from the typical hotels.

The concept of "pousadas" has a great development in Brazil. The "pousadas" are big houses that usually belong to family, located in very natural places, with all the comfor of a five star but with the personal treat that a small accomodation resort has to offer.
